This is a very good way to prepare oneself for the theoretic test. I bought 48 hours access on prøve.no and took the tests anumber of times the last two days before my test. I had also read the book beforehand, and this combination was obviously correct for me; passed with 4 mistakes. I think the tests on this website were more difficult than the actual test. Gold!

Frequently asked questions

How many errors can you have on the ADR class 7 exam?

You can have a maximum of 3 errors out of 15 questions on the ADR class 7 exam (7-ADR). You need at least 12 of 15 correct to pass at DSB.

How long does the ADR class 7 exam take?

You have 75 minutes for the ADR class 7 exam at DSB. If you take the combined exam (G-7ADR), the 135 minutes for the basic course are added, giving 210 minutes in total on the same day.

Can I take the ADR class 7 exam without the basic course?

No. The ADR basic course (G-ADR) is the mandatory foundation for the class 7 specialization. Most candidates take the basic course and class 7 on the same exam day as a combined exam (G-7ADR). Taking only the class 7 exam is relevant only if you already hold a valid ADR basic certificate.

How long is the ADR class 7 specialization valid?

The ADR competence certificate with class 7 specialization is valid for 5 years from the date of issue. Before it expires you must pass renewal exams for both the basic course and the class 7 module to retain the qualification.

Which ADR specialisations are there?

ADR training consists of a basic course (grunnkurs) and three specialisation courses: tank, class 1 (explosives) and class 7 (radioactive material). This test covers the class 7 (radioactive material) specialisation, which builds on the basic course.
