How long have you been practice driving?
Probably not as long as this guy plans to!
Last week, a newspaper in Bergen reported on a man and his wife who were stopped by police. The car was marked with a red L (learner sign) and had an extra interior mirror for the supervisor. The supervisor was over 25 years old and had held a license for a long time. The driving met all the requirements for supervised practice driving.
However, the police were puzzled by one thing. The man stated that he had been practice driving with his wife for many years with no plan to get a license. Not only that, he had no plan to get a license in the future either. He was going to practice drive for the rest of his life.
The fact that the man didn’t want to take a trip in the car without his wife in the passenger seat was probably fine with the police, but they were very unsure whether it was actually legal to practice drive without planning to get a license, and how long one could continue doing so.
The police were so unsure that they had to ask the Roads Directorate for advice. Now the answer has come. The man can practice drive with his wife until death do them part.
