Our roads take a beating during winter, without good opportunities to repair them. When snow and frost heave are gone, there's a lot to fix. This year, 2.3 million tonnes of asphalt will be laid on over 3,683 kilometers of the country's national and county roads.
Asphalt will be laid in most places during the period from May to September, and will mainly be placed on existing national and county roads. Some asphalt will be laid on cycling and walking paths, and some on completely new roads.
Theory exam for car
An English translation of the theory exam for taking a Norwegian driving license. The exam has a large number of questions, so you can try it over again several times.
The Public Roads Administration has now published a map where you can see where asphalt will be laid in this year's asphalt season.
Asphalt laying on municipal roads is not included on this map as that is the responsibility of each municipality.
